Lilah

Meet Lilah, to anyone she looks like a healthy, bubbly 3rd grader – one would never know that she was actually diagnosed with neuroblastoma just a few weeks after she was born. After numerous treatments that lasted for almost her entire first year of life,  she is now a healthy and thriving young girl. You can read more about Lilah’s courageous Story and her Fund that has raised over $660,000 in donations to the SickKids Foundation!

I’m a proud member of the  Smiling Eyes Project, a non-profit group of Professional Photographers offering complimentary photo shoots to people/families facing Cancers fight or victory. It was such an honour to be asked to photograph Lilah and her Family back in the Summer, she was a fun and outgoing little girl who loves her little brother very much. Lilah – you are beautiful, wonderful and so inspiring and I know you are going to do some amazing things in your life – you mentioned your love for painting or photography (great choices, maybe you can second shoot with me one day)!
