Claudia & Alex’s Wedding Walk in the Woods – {Toronto & Ancaster Wedding Photographer}

Claudia is a beautiful Peruvian and Alex is the dashing Russian, they have this wonderful “fire and ice” chemistry and it’s so sweet when Alex calls her “Claudita” (wonder if my Russian cute name would be “Corita”?)

The rain and snow fortunately held off and Claudia and Alex (and I) were able to go for an icy stroll through the woods to get to the Hermitage Ruins in Ancaster for a little pre-Ceremony photo shoot.

Nature means a lot to this lovely couple so this location was perfect for them, and for me – I love nature it’s the perfect backdrop. I’m hoping to be fortunate enough to photograph a lush woodsy wedding one day (please contact me if you are planning one!)…

There was a bit of a funny story while Alex was anxiously awaiting the limo arrival of his Bride-to-be before heading to the Hermitage, the first white limo arrived and he eagerly ran up to it only to find a different wedding party inside, whoops. Then the next white limo pulled up to the hotel, he took a nervous breath and opened the car door to find 3 stewardesses and 2 pilots inside! It was hilarious – check out the photo below of Alex and then one of the pilots…

…luckily the third limo was a charm and his lovely Claudia was inside!

I LOVE this one with all of the moss, this would be stunning as a large canvas wrap!

Claudia was such a trooper in her fashionable rubber boots and hiking her delicate lace gown over her arm to get to the remote location, I think it was definitely worth it in the end!
