I had the pleasure of doing Dinah & Nick’s Engagement Portraits the other day, they are such a lovely couple – here are some of my faves! I can’t wait until their golf course wedding in Uxbridge on Saturday, stay tuned for photos soon…. xoxo Corina

I planned to meet Rachel, her husband and her 6-month-old daughter Sofia down at the Bronte Beach the other weekend for a Family photo shoot by the lake.
They soon arrived and I just couldn’t take me eyes off of this absolutely beautiful baby!
With her big blue eyes and strawberry blonde hair…ok, I’ve seen lots of gorgeous babies in my life this is one not only looked adorable but also had such a winning personality – during the shoot she somehow always knew where my camera was, didn’t ever fuss once (the shoot was during her nap time!) and managed to give me her full attention for 40 minutes!
I’m predicting a super-model in the making! Congratulations Sofia & Family, I had a wonderful time with you! xoxo

She looks like a little China Doll…

Love this one with Daddy holding her…

Corina,
Your work is always outstanding, but these are some of your most breath-taking shots ever. Fantastic!
So when I was asked by Sarah’s Mom to do a Family photo shoot of husband and her daughter a couple of weeks ago, I was honoured and then when I found out these photos were for her husband’s special Birthday in August I was extremely honoured! So we headed down to Gairloch Gardens in Oakville for some “magic” sunset lighting and lush, cool greenery – which was a nice considering it was something like 40 degrees celcius with the heatwave we’ve been experiencing! By the way if you are planning a wedding in the Oakville area definitely consider doing your portraits down there – it’s gorgeous!
Here are some of my fave photos from the shoot:

Love the soft light reflecting off the lake…

Gorgeous mother & daughter….

Love the pensive GQ look…

Awww, these two were so sweet and goofy with each other – just the way fathers and daughters should be!

You are beautiful Sarah!

Thanks again for allowing me to document your beautiful family and hope the birthday brings a lot of wonderful memories! xoxo Corina

Hot, hot, steamy hot!
It was a sultry warm evening, the first day of Summer and Christa and Mark’s Engagement shoot in Burlington. I had such a wonderful time with this couple, they are fun and loved to kiss each other!
Seriously, check out the first shot I took of them:

This seagull was hilarious, he sat on this pillar the entire time I was taking their photos, and when we finished and got up to leave he flew off too!

LOVE this one, they were such troopers and climbed up a big hill for me, in their flip-flops!

You are gorgeous Christa!

Along Burlington Beach there is this compass built into the boardwalk, and Christa informed me that if you stand in the middle of it and talk you can hear an echo! I tried it and it’s really cool, check it out next time you’re there!

…more steamy!

My favourite tree is the willow, it’s so romantic looking and I love how the branches sway in the wind…

Christa and Mark – you are fabulous and I can’t wait to shoot your wedding in August at Vineland Estates Winery!

LOVE this photo shoot!! I love how you can see the moon in the summer sky in the one by the harbour!! They are all gorgeous, Keena! AND….the Willow has always been my favourite tree too! So much so, that I wrote a poem about it! Talent is pouring out of your veins baby!
xoxoxo
Awww, thanks so much for your comment Michelle! xoxo

I just had to post a couple of photos of my 3-year-old daughter Bianca – she just recently had her first ballet recital and of course I was completely teary-eyed when I saw her on stage in her pink tutu and tiara! Bianca is on the left and her best-buddy Sarah is on the right…

Bianca did her little dance routines and then we went outside for a break. She didn’t want to go back inside for the “reception” so like every diva, she had to show her classic disapproval stance:
…too funny!

…and then had a little “rest” on the grass, and then she quickly recovered at the mention of some cupcakes from Cupid’s bakery in Oakville. If you haven’t tried these babies yet, get there asap – too good to miss!
