I had the honour of photographing Toria and Ryan’s Wedding this Summer and yes – I  finally have a bit of time to get it up on the Blog (better late than never right?)…

These two were married at Otello’s Banquet Hall in Oakville with a beautiful sunset outdoor ceremony and had their two young daughters by their side as well as all of their friends and family. I love the way Toria and Ryan are such loving parents and have such a wonderful love for each other as well, you can see this in all of their photos. Hi Corina,
As you know, I was hesitant to become involved in the details of my own wedding, with my now husband having taken the reigns.  You reassured me that everything would be perfect and would be beautiful.  It wasn’t until after our special day that I really did see the perfection and beauty in what happened.  After the whirlwind was over,  you showed me what was.  What was….was beautiful.

Thank you so much for being the person that you are and the photographer that you are!  I really did not believe in fairy godmothers until I met you.  You truly make the fairy tale happen in your ability to bring the life and magic of a moment to reality through a lens.  Even better, the fairytale lasts forever, as it is documented for life. Regardless of the situation, the piece of magic is always there.

Thank you Corina for your vivacious, outgoing personality.  Thank you for being upfront, honest and to the point.  Thank you for believing, and for making me believe too, that regardless of the circumstance, each moment is so very special.

It really moves me to read such lovely words from my past clients, who all become my friends after their nuptials.

After their weddings, and as I’m editing their photos I am always so honoured to have been asked to capture these special moments for them and it’s almost overwhelming when I think that one day their grandchildren might be sitting on their laps looking through these photos with them.

Since I only take on 20 weddings per year, I can ensure that my clients get all the special attention they need as well as advice and support along the way.  I consult with them on how to allocate enough time to ensure lots of creative photos, how to maximize their day for photos (maybe photos before the ceremony), and give them any last-minute pep-talks before they head down the aisle!

I am truly blessed to be able to do what I love for a living and to also have the best clients in the world! xoxo

Jessica & Ben met in high school and have been together ever since – you can see their Engagement Session here, this adorable couple love to make each other laugh and have some pretty amazing dance moves that were on display at their wedding reception! Gorgeous Jessica wore an equally gorgeous Monique Lhuillier “Elle” Gown, which made her Mom and Grandmother a little emotional when they saw her in it. These high school sweethearts had their ceremony and reception at the Atlantis Pavilions at Ontario Place, they are so amazing because they agreed to follow me up to the roof for some quick photos…apparently people aren’t allowed up there anymore because of the dangerous high winds. Thank you so much for the honour of photographing your Wedding, you are such a lovely couple and I know that you two will continue to make each other laugh forever! xoxo Corina

I was so excited when they mentioned they would be interested in doing a “First Look” – which is when the bride and groom see it each other before the ceremony for a very intimate and personal moment as it’s all captured in photos. I love Carolyn’s expressions leading up to the big “viewing” as she explodes into full laughter – she is such a fun-loving gal, I can totally see how John would love to spend the rest of his life with her!

We also did a “10 Triple M” – which is a “10 Minute Married Moment”, where we sneak off to somewhere quiet with the newly-married couple right after they came up the aisle and let them just soak in the beauty of the moment, – we just photograph both of them as a newly married couple (no direction from us). This way they aren’t thrown into the “business mode” of shaking hand and accepting congrats as your new spouse is consumed by a sea of people. Just the two of you, staring into each other’s eyes for a couple of minutes – it’s wonderful. And very cute, because most of the time my clients are staring at each other and each checking out their new rings!
